BILLIE JO JOHNSON

Funeral Services for Mrs. Billie Jo Johnson, 77, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, April 10, 2015 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in West 
Monroe with Rev. Rick McPhearson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. 
Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
West Monroe.

Mrs. Billie was born February 13, 1938 and passed away April 7, 2015. She was 
member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, West Ouachita Senior Center, Hug-A-Bear, 
and Quilters Guild. Mrs. Billie was a veteran of the United States Air Force, 
worked as a meteorological technician for the Federal Weather Bureau, taught 
Sunday school for over 30 years, and touched many lives through Christmas 
ornaments and daylilies. She loved life, but loved God more. She was preceded 
in death by her parents, J.P. and Myrtis Wright; husband, Roy Johnson; and 
brother, Ben Wright.

Survivors include her children, Richard Johnson and wife April, Pamela 
Giavotella and husband Paul, and Nora Fleming and husband Marvin; 
grandchildren, Pepito Cabral, Jessica Giavotella, Jennifer Giavotella, Jackie 
May and husband Josh, Laura Riley and husband Jake, Benjamin Aston, Jameson 
Fleming, and Kaitlin Fleming; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas, Mason, 
Mia, Jackson, and Samuel; sister-in-law, Gladys Wright; nephew, Richard Wright 
and wife Shelly; and her granddog, Dot.

Pallbearers will be Glen Jordan, Walter Stapleton, Kevin Telano, Jake Riley, 
Benjamin Aston, and Lance Stapleton.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, April 9, 2015 
at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in West Monroe.
