ROSE JOHNSON

Funeral Services for Mrs. Rose Johnson, 82, of Monroe, La, will be 2pm, 
Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Griffin Funeral Home in Monroe, with Rev. Ricky 
Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the 
direction of Griffin Funeral Home, Monroe. Visitation will be Wednesday, 
October 21, 2015 at Griffin Funeral Home in Monroe from 5pm to 7pm.

Mrs. Rose Marie Barnett Johnson was born January 18, 1933 and passed from this 
life on October 20, 2015, at her home peacefully.

Mrs. Johnson, was retired from Ouachita Parish School Board, where she drove a 
bus for 26 years, a job she truly loved. She was a true Gem that always shined. 
She will truly be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ralph Johnson, Jr; 
parents, Roy Edwin and Verdie Barnett and sister, Jenelle Kelly.

Survivors include two sons, John Johnson and wife Judy, Ralph Johnson and 
Sheree; two daughters, Wanda Sue King and Sheryl Johnson; seven grandkids, Kari 
Johnson Frantom, Jason Johnson (Nicole), Derek Johnson (Angela), Justin Johnson 
(Roxy), Sarah Johnson, Anna Lea King and Jeremy Johnson (Britney); brother, Roy 
Edwin Barnett, Jr.; sister, Hilda McMillion; seven great-grandkids;numerous 
nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Trey Frantom, Scott Hall and Jared 
Albritton.
