AGNES MARIE JOHNSON
Cox Funeral Home

Delhi, LA

Funeral services for Agnes M. Johnson, 78, of Delhi will be held at 3:30PM on 
Sunday, April 19, 2009 in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi with Rev. 
Curtis Harris officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 M Saturday at Cox Funeral Home. 
Burial will be in the Newton Community Cemetery near Delhi under the direction 
of Cox Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson, a retired Housekeeper with Richardson Medical Center in 
Rayville, went peacefully home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, 
April 17, 2009 at her residence surrounded by loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Frank Johnson Jr.; her 
parents, Steve Monroe Harrell and Hazel Odell Walker Harrell and two brothers, 
J. S. and Monroe Steve Harrell.

She is survived by four sons; Steve Wayne Johnson of Clute, TX, Andrew M. 
Johnson and wife Jaunece, Danny Lee Johnson and Ronnie Monroe Johnson all of 
Delhi, LA; two daughters, Joyce Dannehl and husband Donnie of Rayville, LA and 
Brenda Hernandez and husband Richard of Pflugerville, TX; one brother, Archie 
Lee Harrell of Delhi, LA; one sister, Hazel Odell Hodges of Bastrop, LA; 
eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Any planned memorials may be made to The Manger, 119 Charter St., Delhi, LA 
71232.

Memaw began early in the morning with His divine Holy Word and each day ended 
asking God to surround her family with the Blood of His precious Son Jesus.

These are the things that each one of us will always hold dear to our hearts.

Pallbearers will be Alfonzo Owens, Mike Johnson, Johnny Reynolds, Kody Ron 
Johnson, Gabino L. R. Hernandez and Brandon Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. W. David Thompson and Dr. Lester Johnson
