JAN JOHNSTON

Graveside Services for Jan Johnston, 61, of West Monroe, LA, will be held 
10:00 A.M., Friday, January 11, 2013 at Hasley Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Jon 
Tellifero officiating. 

Jan Johnston retired as a third grade school teacher with Monroe City School 
System, where she worked for twenty-five years. Jan was currently working at 
Ouachita Independent Bank. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. 
and Mrs. James Robert Johnston and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burton Archibald; and 
her father, James Richard Johnston.

Jan is survived by her mother, Jane Archibald Johnston; sister, Jerri 
Johnston; brother, James Robert Johnston, II; sister-in-law, Michele Smith 
Johnston; and nephews, James Robert "Trey" Johnston, III, and Justin Alexander 
Johnston.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 10, 2013, 
at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Ouachita Independent Bank.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA or 
M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Research Projects.
