BRENDA WALKER JOHNSTON

Graveside services for Brenda Walker Johnston, 72, homemaker, of West Monroe, LA 
will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at New Chapel Hill Baptist 
Church Cemetery. Rev. Charles Dupree will be officiating.

Mrs. Johnston was born September 23, 1941 in Jonesville, LA and passed away 
February 1, 2014 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist 
Church and The Adult Nine Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker, a "good 
Momma" and had a great love for genealogy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J. Ross Johnston and her parents, Larry 
and Cora Walker.

She is survived by her two sons, Scott Johnston and wife Lisa, and Aaron 
Johnston and wife Victoria; a sister, Patricia Ford; a sister-in-law, Linda 
Johnston, numerous nieces and nephews and a canine companion of 14 years, 
Shelby.

Pallbearers will be Keith Norris, Tom Graff, Campion Murphy, Paul Johnston, 
Wayne Hammons, and Shayne Williams.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Hamilton, Don Finley, Bernard Heflin, Ken 
Pettit, and Adron Walker and her Sunday School class.

Memorials may be made to New Chapel Hill Cemetery Fund.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 
PM at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
