JAMES LLOYD JOHNSTON

Funeral services for James Lloyd Johnston, Sr., 77, of West Monroe will be held 
at 5:00 PM, Sunday, May 25, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe. Pastor Freeman Crain will be officiating. Interment will follow at 
Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe.

Mr. Johnston was born March 24, 1937 in Sikes, LA to the union of Arthur and 
Velma Johnston and passed away May 22, 2014 in West Monroe. His family was the 
love of his life and his passion was hunting, fishing, and his beautiful 
gardens. Mr. Johnston will be always loved and greatly missed.

Mr. Johnston is survived by his wife of 55 years Lynda; sons; James Lloyd Jr., 
and wife Deborah, Robert and his wife Elizabeth, Randall and his wife Cheryl; 
daughter, Sandra and husband Sonny Phillips; grandchildren; Rachel and Mathis 
Bothel, Adrianah Roberts, Jessica Hill, Justin Allen Johnston, Kyle Johnston, 
Annabeth and Payton Johnston.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Johnston, Payton Johnston, Terry Johnston, Lyn 
Meredith, Mathis Bothel, and Wayne Martin.

Honorary pallbearers Julian Johnston, Royce Calhoun, Buford Calhoun, and Lendal 
and Don Johnston.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.
