CAROL NICHOLS JOHNSTON

Funeral services for Carol Nichols Johnston, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 
11:00 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2017, in the chapel at Mulhearn Memorial 
Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. William Smith officiating, under the 
direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Her family has announced the death of Carol Nichols Johnston, 74, on 
February 16, 2017. She graduated from Ouachita Public High School and later 
attended Northeast University. Since 1988, Carol worked as a dedicated 
paraprofessional at Lakeshore Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Earline Nichols, Sr., 
and a brother, Curtis Nichols, Jr.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and Meg Heidtman, and 
their children, sons, Garrett and Will Heath, and daughter, Lily Heidtman. 
She is also survived by her daughter, Stacy Luther and her granddaughters, 
Sorena Mayo, Astrid Luther, and Aria Luther.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to Lakeshore Elementary School.
