Lawley would be the first to say that family is the most important thing in life. He spent his last few days surrounded by his loving family and friends, reminding us of his favorite saying passed down by his late grandfather Papa Fleming, "Take care of your family and your family will take care of you." He will always be remembered as a great, generous man who loved his country and treasured his family.
