MRS. ELOISE HUTCHERSON JONES

West Monroe, LA

Graveside Services for Mrs. Eloise Hutcherson Jones, 87, of West Monroe, LA 
will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Hasley Cemetery 
with Rev. Mark Fenn officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home 
West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Jones was born on February 28, 1921 in Danville, VA and passed away at 
the Landmark Nursing Center in West Monroe, LA on November 18, 2008. She was a 
member of the First Baptist Church for 63 years. During that time, Mrs. Jones 
taught Sunday School for 35 years. Mrs. Jones has been a resident of West 
Monroe since 1945. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Riley 
Jones; parents, four brothers, and four sisters.

Survivors include her children, Pat Avant and husband, George of West Monroe, 
LA and Steve Jones and wife, Frances of Calhoun, LA; five grandchildren, Angie 
Pardue of West Monroe, LA, Kay Traina of North Richland Hills, TX, Eddie Avant 
of West Monroe, LA, Tracey Cassels of Monroe, LA and Matt Jones of Baton 
Rouge, LA; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or to the 
charity of your choice.
