Mrs. Jones spent most of her adult life in Delhi, LA, where she served for more than 20 years as the administrator of the Delhi Clinic. After her retirement from the clinic, she served as Chairman of the Board of the Delhi Hospital for 22 years. She was also a member of the Delhi Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She married Tendle L. Jones on February 7, 1946, and they were married for 64 years, until his death. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, George H. Castleman Jr. and Clara Layton Castleman; two brothers, David Castleman and his wife Natalie and Jerry Castleman. She is survived by her children: Mike Jones & wife Cheryl and Judy Martin & husband Mike all of Delhi, LA and Joe Jones & wife Karen of Lake Charles, LA. She is also survived by grandchildren: Jay Jones & wife Wendy, Josh Jones, Jeff Jones, Andy Martin & wife Jenny, Brad Martin & wife Brooke, Amy Jones, Joanie Howard & husband Patrick and Brian Donham & wife Kim. She was extremely proud of her twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Delhi Presbyterian Church with Rev. Paul Lipe officiating. Burial will be in the Faith Memorial Park Cemetery south of Delhi under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearer will be long time family friend Raymond Stroud. The family wishes to thank employees of Delhi Hospital and Deerfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care shown our mother, and especially to Dr. Paul Grandon for his kindness, care and friendship during the past many years. One of Mrs. Jones' favorite charities was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
