BOBBY D. JONES

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby D. Jones, 61, of Bastrop will be held at 2:00 
pm on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home in 
Bastrop with Rev. Jerry Stuckey officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park 
Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born in Bastrop on September 25, 1953, the son of Lee Roy and 
Mary Odom Jones of Mangham, and he passed away January 7, 2015. He was 
raised near Collinston, LA, and retired after working at both the Bastrop 
Mill and Louisiana Mill for International Paper. Bobby was a special person 
who will be missed by all who knew him. His life was focused on his family. 
He enjoyed hunting, catching and frying fish, and sharing them with family 
and friends, as well as the company of his Boston terriers, Gracie and 
Sugar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Lee Roy Jones, Jr.; 
and father-in-law and mother-in-law Freddie and Uldene Russell.

He is survived by: his wife and best friend, Carol Russell Jones; three 
daughters, Emily Jones Fulmer and husband Kris, Hannah Jones Bagwell and 
husband Ricky, Meredith Jones; six grandchildren, Macy and Kinsley Fulmer, 
Peyton and Brody Bagwell, Marrah and Chandler Jones; brother Jerry Jones and 
wife Shelley; sister, Pam Lee and husband Van; brother in law, Dr. Richard 
Russell and wife Gail; nieces and nephews Duncan Jones, Mary Larkin Jones, 
Shawn Ouellette, Derek Ouellette, Christopher Scott Russell, and Mary 
Michelle Otwell; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, January 9, 
2015 at Golden Funeral Home in Bastrop.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Duncan Jones, Shawn Ouellette, 
Derek Ouellette, Scott Russell, Mike Ruddick, and Richard Russell. Honorary 
pallbearers are Doug Payne, Steve Tew, Harry Fulmer, Wade Fulmer, Jeff 
Nicolle, Bobby Church, Gary Anderson, and Bill Tubre.
