ROBERT MICHAEL JONES

Funeral service for Robert Michael 'Tank' Jones, 52, of West Monroe, formally 
of St. Joseph, LA, will take place on Friday, July 1, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the 
chapel of First United Pentecostal Church of St. Joseph, with Rev. Dewayne 
Butler and Rev. Larry Foster officiating, interment to follow at Legion 
Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, LA under the direction of Young's Community 
Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA.

Mike, a farmer for over 30 years, was born on May 7, 1964 in Newellton, LA to 
the union of Robert J. Jones and Glenda Posey Jones, and passed away on June 
27, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. 
Jones; maternal grandparents, John David and Ester Orr Posey; paternal 
grandparents, Wiley Sutton and Fannie McDaniel Jones; father-in-law, Ernest L. 
Hestle.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kelly Storey Jones; sons, 
Zachary Wayne Jones and wife Elizabeth of Shreveport, LA, and Michael Peyton 
Jones of West Monroe, LA; granddaughters, Kara Helen Jones, Kendall Anne Jones 
and Katherine Jayne Jones; mother, Glenda Posey Jones of St. Joseph, LA; 
brothers, Terry Jones and wife Grace of Baton Rouge, LA, Garry Jones and fiancé 
Louise also of Baton Rouge, LA, and Mark Jones and wife Elise of Newellton, LA. 
He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers that will be honoring Mike will be Allen Lansing, Charles Ray 
Johnson, Daryl Head, Les Fuller, Doug Miller, Ryan Hestle, Dunnie McDaniel, and 
Scott Watson.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 
12:00-2:00 at the church.
