ELLEN E. JONES

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ellen E. Jones, 89, of Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM 
Monday, January 24, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe 
with Rev. Eddy Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Cherry 
Cemetery, Mangham.

Mrs. Jones was born July 23, 1922, in Winnsboro, LA, and passed away on 
January 22, 2011, in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist 
Church for over 50 years and taught Sunday School all her adult life.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Jones and her daughter, 
Evelyn Gilmore.

She is survived by her sister, Allie Mae Rutherford; her daughter, Sharon 
Morgan and her husband Ed; grandchildren, Tonya Humphrey and her husband 
Barry, Tammy Gates and her husband, Randy, Marlene Byrd and her husband Louis, 
and Tom Morgan and his wife Tanya; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-
great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Louis Byrd Sr., Louis Byrd Jr., Terry Gilmore, Barry 
Humphrey, Brad Humphrey, and Randy Gates.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, January 23, 2011, at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
