"KK" has touched the lives of so many demonstrating Courage, Belief, Faith, and Strength in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Despite her short life, Katie's crowning achievement was bringing people closer to Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1901 Lexington Ave, Monroe, LA on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 9:30 am followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am with Reverend Job Edathinatt Scaria and Reverend Doctor Tim Neustifter officiating. Burial will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Katie is survived by her loving parents, the Honorable Judge Jefferson Joyce and Kathryn Amman Joyce, Big sister Lillian Amman Joyce; Maternal grandparents the Honorable Judge Frederic C. Amman III and Martha Perry Amman; Paternal grandfather the Honorable Judge John Joyce and wife Sharon, paternal grandmother Gay Hargrove Morris and husband John; Aunts and Uncles Sharon and Herschel Vinyard, Jennifer and Mark Reddaway, Francie and Stuart Briscoe, Perry and Brett Estis, and Rebecca and Kory Sonnier; and many adoring cousins. We would like to thank Dr. Frederick Boop, Dr. Tom Merchant, Tracy Tidwell, Dr. Nashat Khanfar, Dr. Bonita Dyess, Jessica Graham and all of the nursing staff at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . Honoring Katie as pallbearers are Benjamin Peters, Bill Patrick, Bill Whatley, Danny Breard, Stewart Shelby, and Tim Southern.
