Danny Chance, and Senator Fred Mills officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Mrs. Kalil was born June 26, 1933 in Crossett, Arkansas to her parents Gus Edward and Mollie Ann Jeffers Culbreath and passed from this life on October 22, 2012. She was a retired employee of the Ouachita parish Sheriff's Office and was a member of Jesus Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Mrs. Kalil was very involved in helping with local political races and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, the Uptown Ladies. She was named Woman of The Year in 2004 by Quota International of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Kalil, Jr., two brothers, Gus Ed Culbreath and Robert Culbreath, and one sister, Ethel Madden. Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Kalil Mills and husband Fred Mills, Jr., Susan Kalil Cumpton and husband Gary Cumpton, Gloria Anna Kalil Flores and husband Brian Flores, and one son, Fred Kalil, III and wife Melanie McGraw Kalil, six grandchildren, Fred Kalil, IV, Anna Katherine Kalil, Abigail Kalil, Daniel Cumpton, Matthew Flores, and Michael Flores, two sisters, Betty Wayne Briggs and Barbara Flemister. Pallbearers will be Fred Kalil, IV, Daniel Cumpton, Michael Flores, Matthew Flores, Gary Cumpton, and Brian Flores. Honorary pallbearers will be Judge Wendell Manning, Judge Sharon Marchman, Mayor Jamie Mayo, Sheriff Jay Russell, Former Sheriff Richard Fewell, Judge Marcus Clark, Senator Bob Kostelka, District Attorney Jerry Jones. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service at Mulhearn Funeral Home. Mrs. Kalil's family extends gratitude to the caregivers of The Arbor House and The Terrace.
