She was 83 years old. Jo was born March 19, 1931 in Florence, Ala. to Newbern and Ida Revod. She was the fourth of five sisters. Jo was a homemaker and Mama to six children and many more that knew her as Mama Jo. She was a steadfast Christian that would tell others about Jesus and never afraid to share her faith. She was a member of Bawcomville Church of Christ. The family remaining to mourn her loss but to celebrate her life are: Joseph Elbert " Buster" Keeton, her husband and best friend of 62 years. Her six children: Cydney Denise Keeton Summerville, Marla Jean Keeton Redding and husband David, Melanie Joan Keeton Christy, Joseph Shawn Keeton and wife Carol, Dana Leigh Keeton Osborn and husband Ray, Genevieve June Keeton Earwood and husband Howard. She had thirteen grandchildren: Erica Summerville Hutton and husband Logan, Mark Redding and wife Anna, Landon Christy and wife Jennifer, Leola Summerville, Julianne Christy Romsberg, Daniel Keeton and wife Lexie, Justin Christy and wife Lauren, Jeanna Redding Vermillion and husband Chad, Audra Summerville, Jameson Keeton, Samuel Keeton, Jonathan Earwood, and Luke Osborn and two step granddaughters, Katie Osborn and Anna Johnson and husband Heath. She had nine great grand children Leigha, Casey, Layton, Sloane,Kellen, Ireland, Miles, Keeton, and Jaxon. She had three step great grand-children, Aubry, Austin and Connor. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Newbern and Ida Revod and her sister, Trilby Comer. She has three living sisters, Ruby Jaynes, Joy Cordle and Norma Fisher all of Florence. Ala. She also had many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Funeral services will be held at Jackson St Church of Christ Monroe, La. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be at Griffin Funeral Home on Hwy 80, West Monroe, La. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Pallbearers will be her eight grandsons Mark Redding, Landon Christy, Daniel Keeton, Justin Christy, Jameson Keeton, Samuel Keeton, Jonathan Earwood and Luke Osborn. Memorials may be made to World Radio, WFR Ministries,3201 Nth 7th St, West Monroe, La.
