EVA MAE KEITH Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe, LA Services for Eva Mae Keith, 86, of Monroe will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel on Lamy Lane in Monroe with Rev. John Parker and Rev. Danny Hawthorne officiating. Burial will be held at Monroe Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA. Mrs. Keith was born January 1, 1922 in Franklinton, LA and passed away September 17, 2008 at St. Joseph's Nursing Home surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was a Christian mother, a giver and what set her apart is that she gave her best, for she gave from the heart. Sacrifices, lessons and values imparted through words and actions are the gifts everyone who knew her will treasure always. We thank her for every Godly quality and the greatest heritage of all, the heritage of love! Mrs. Eva worked faithfully as a volunteer at Ouachita Council on Aging in the Quilting Room with all her special friends. She attended Scottish Meeting regularly with Mr. Monroe Stewart. Mrs. Keith was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Alfred L. Keith of 50 plus years; son Frank Keith; and granddaughter: Kathy Keith. Survivors include one son: Bobby A. Keith and wife, Janet of Monroe, LA; daughters: Gladys Hall and husband Donie, and Helen Parker and husband, John both of Monroe, LA; sisters: Helen Johnson of Sulphur, LA; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Jamey Keith, Westley Frith, John Parker, Joseph Foster, Brad Parker; great grandsons: William Frith, Matthew Parker and Chad Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be Monroe Stewart and Carlton Smith from the Ouachita Council on Aging. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2008 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe and from 11:00 AM to the time of service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2008.
