Services for Laura Lucille Mabry Kenney, age 92 of Columbia will be 2:00 PM 
Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Columbia with Rev. 
Eric Harriman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in 
Columbia.

Mrs. Lucille Kenney was born on November 26, 1916 in Caldwell Parish to the 
union of Norris Elmo and Dollie Denise Kelly Mabry. Mrs. Denise Mabry died 
when Mrs. Kenney was an infant and she was reared by the woman she referred to 
as mother, Martha Louise Spann Mabry. Mrs. Kenney passed away on December 29, 
2008 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; L.J. "Bud" Kenney, two 
sons; Billy and Bruce Kenney, two sisters, eight brothers and granddaughter; 
Pam Kenney.

Survivors include her son; Lelon Kenney and wife, Loretta of Columbia, 
brother; Albert Mabry of Wisner, sister; Martha Mabry Herron and husband, 
James of Pinegrove, daughters-in-law; Margaret Kenney and Clarice Kenney both 
of Columbia, grandchildren; Jim Kenney and wife, Jodi, Sherry Kenney, Spencer 
Kenney and wife, Hope and Michelle Kenney Morton, great grandchildren; 
Katherine Peterson, Thomas Morton, Gabriel Morton, Billy Colton Kenney and 
Tyler Catherine Kenney and loving caretaker and friend; Dot Howard.

Pallbearers will be Ray Norman, Steven Hall, Danny Hall, Max Howard, John 
Rider and Gary Rider
