Fred Alton Keys, 92, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Cedar Crest Baptist Church with Rev. Oda "Tuck" Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Cemetery, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Keys was born January 18, 1921 and passed away on May 6, 2013. He is a retired Baptist minister, where he preached for over fifty years all over Northeast Louisiana. Rev. Keys was a fighter pilot during World War II. He is preceded in death by a son, Larry Wilson Keys. Survivors include his wife, Clara Keys; sons, Fred Alton Keys, Jr. and wife, Rose, Keith Wayne Keys and wife, Deborah, and James Earl Keys and wife, Tamra; daughter, Amy Lou Keys Jenkins and husband, Jimmy, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Cedar Crest Baptist Church, West Monroe, LA. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Research.
