Adrian Fischer officiating. Interment will be held at Williamette Memorial Park in Albany, OR. Mrs. Killins was born September 21, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan and entered into eternity on February 27, 2009 peacefully at home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Ma grew up an only child and married Dave Killins in 1935. Together they had seven children, five boys and two girls: Mary D. Soignier and husband, Robert, Candy Allen and Dannie Sims, Rick Killins and wife, Julie, Don Killins and wife, Oneta, Robert Killins, Dan Killins and wife, Patsy, and Davey Killins and wife, Eileen. She played piano and won the Detroit piano playing contest in 1927. She also enjoyed fishing, dancing, "her birthday party", church, family and friends. Ma lived by herself up until January 2009 at which time she chose to have Hospice Family Alliance come to her home for assistance. She was widowed in 1967 while living in Oregon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Killins; her parents, and her sons, Don and Davey. She is survived by five children, sixteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mickey Plunk, James Morris, Donald Duncan, Bobby Killins, Dee Killins, and Leslie Killins. Honorary pallbearers will be James Pickering and I. H. Tidwell. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Prayer service to be held at 6:00 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Paschal's Catholic Church or send any flowers to Oregon.
