Kimball, 75, of Baton Rouge, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 13, 2016 in Baton Rouge. He was born in Winnsboro, LA on July 16, 1941. R.W. graduated from Ouachita Parish High School. R.W. married his best friend and life partner, Jen, on August 3, 1962. He was a City of Monroe Firefighter for 29 years as well as a building contractor. R.W. was preceded in death by his parents, Cad and Vesta Kimball, and sister Mary Bates. He is survived by his wife, Jen, of 54 years; his precious daughters and sons-in-law, Paige and Rocky, Patreese and Jeff, Christi and John; his sisters, Mae/Jim Miller, Betty Hill; his brothers, Roger/Betty, Jasper, Wayne. PawPaw, as he was adoringly called, loved his precious grandchildren, the apples of his eye, Danielle/Ben Andre'; Sarah Jane and Harrison Billhorn, Shelby, Grant, Jack, and Michael Ramares and great grandchildren, Anna Claire Ricks-Boyd and Noah Andre', and special nieces and nephews. Pallbearers, sons-in-law and grandsons. Honorary pallbearers, Tim Asmussen, Jim McKay, Jerry Thomas, Kerry Joe Thompson, Dewey Wood, Mike Word, and City of Monroe Firefighters. Funeral service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, August 15 at 11 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Louisiana Blood Bank in memory of R.W. Kimball. The family is overwhelmed with all the people God has put in our lives through this journey. Thank you for your love and support. We pray God's richest blessings for each one of you.
