Bill Foster and Mr. Johnny Guice officiating under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery near Winnsboro. Mrs. Kincaid was born to the union of her parents Herbert D. and A. Auline Smith Johnson on August 24, 1934, in Urania, LA and passed from this life May 27, 2009 at her residence in Winnsboro. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Lee Kincaid, who she is reunited with after 28 long years; and a special friend Charlie Pepper. "Ady" was first and foremost a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ms. Kincaid was active in the Franklin Parish business community for many years with interests in the Kincaid Gin, Co., Winnsboro Elevator, Co., Wisner Elevator, Co., and the Free Flo Corporation. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro where she enjoyed singing soprano in the choir. Ms. Kincaid was one of the first women in the community to serve on the Winnsboro Town Council, and also dedicated a significant amount of her time to the Housing Authority. Marcele's excellent bridge play will be missed by her partners and dear friends in the bridge club. Always charitable and feisty, many were touched by her life, and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by three daughters: Debbie Kincaid McCoy and husband Rodney of West Monroe, LA; Kay Kincaid Richards and husband Mark of New Jersey; LeaAnn Kincaid Graves and husband Kent of Denham Springs, LA; grandchildren: Heather Jemerson and fiancée Randy Thornhill; Trey Price and wife Beth; Emily and Alex Richards; Laura and Halie Graves; great- grandchildren: Hannah Jemerson, Jacob Jemerson, Cody Thornhill, Camryn Price, and Keegan Price; also a host of wonderful nieces and nephews and special family friends. Pallbearers will be Larry McCurley, Ritchie Woods, Heath Lee, Ken Hill, John Stapp, and Michael Gilmore.
