Interment will follow in Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA. Mrs. Kitchens was born April 11, 1944 in Mangham, LA and graduated from Mangham High School with the class of 1962. She went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 27, 2013. She passed away in her home in West Monroe, LA surrounded by her family. She was gifted with a great ability to care for others which she spent her life doing. She brought joy to all she touched with her tender heart and her undying, delightful sense of humor. Survivors include her daughter and best friend, Kimberly Ann Graham of West Monroe; special grand dog, Tinker Bell; sister, Bobbye Poindexter Buelow of Monroe; sister, Gay Poindexter Driscoll and husband, Richard of D'Iberville, MS; brother, Thomas B. Poindexter and wife, Patsy of Mangham; sister, Ida Brunson Gilley of Mangham; sister, Lila Brunson Walimaa of West Monroe; sister, Doris Brunson Cox and husband, Tommy of Mangham; sister-in-law, Sue Poindexter of Mangham; special sister, Linda McBroom of Mangham; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lela Woodward Brunson and Thomas Brunson; her first husband and the love of her life, John Wayne Graham; her second husband, Marvin Kitchens; and her brother, Jim (Joe) Poindexter. The family would like to thank Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care for the care of our loved one. We would also like to thank our special friend, Wanda Mathews for being there in our time of need. Pallbearers are Christopher Nobles, Jeff Mercer, Gary Gilley, Jimmy Poindexter, Devin Tyron and Jarred Carlin. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Nephews and Great Nephews.
