DOUGLAS BROOKS KLINE

Douglas Brooks Kline, 73, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 
2015. Services for Mr. Kline will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 
St. Alban's Episcopal Church with a visitation to follow.

Douglas was born in Dayton, Ohio, on October 12, 1942. He passed away on 
October 24, 2015 in Monroe, LA. He worked as a substance abuse counselor for 
the State of Louisiana. He was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Kline and Ruth Kraner Kline; 
and the mother of his children, Carolyn Whitaker. He is survived by his loving 
wife, Rose Lawyer Kline; son, Jeff Kline; daughter, Jennifer Mullins; step-
daughter, Sarah Hayes; step-son, Aaron Hayes; grandsons, Trent Kline and wife 
Alison, Coleman Mullins; granddaughter, Kylie Olden and husband Lance; step-
grandson, Gregory Allen; step-granddaughter, Zoe Allen; and great-grandson, 
Kenny Olden.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research 
Hospital or the organization of your choice.
