BILLY WAYNE KNIGHT

Billy Wayne Knight a retired salesman of West Monroe passed away on January 2, 
2012 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born on August 12, 
1941 in Lake Village, AR. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters 
Union Local 659, Bethel Baptist Church, Northeast LA Street Rods, and the US 
Army. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. A Funeral 
service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Ouachita 
Baptist Church in West Monroe with Rev. Paul Ford and Dr. Dennis Hensley 
officiating under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be 
5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe. Interment 
will follow services at Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Billy is survived by 
his wife Edwina Nappier Knight; children, Lynette Morehead and husband Scotty; 
Stanley Knight and late wife Lona; Brice Knight and wife Tyra; Devon Knight 
and wife Janis; 6 grandsons and one granddaughter, Rachel Knight of West 
Monroe, 1 Granddaughter, April Boyete and 2 great grandchildren of Arkansas. 
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Benjamin Morehead, Tommy Morehead, Adam 
Knight, Eric Knight, Jeffrey Morehead, Scott Knight. Honorary pallbearers will 
be Dennis Howard and Clint Copes
