RICK KNIGHTEN

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Rick Knighten, 51, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 
PM Monday, March 16, 2009 at the Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ in West 
Monroe with Alan Robertson and Mike Kellet officiating. Interment will be at 
Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.

Rick was born in Monroe, LA on January 27, 1958 and passed away at his 
residence on March 14, 2009. He was a member of the Whites Ferry Road Church 
of Christ and worked in the Broadcasting Business for over 35 years. He loved 
working with TOTS (Teams of Tomorrow).

Survivors include his wife, Alice Knighten; daughter, Kassidy Knighten; step-
children, Haley Byars and Scott Barnett; parents, Willie Glenn and Bobbie 
Knighten; brothers and sisters, Ted Knighten, James Knighten, Kim Haughton and 
Dawn Knighten; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Carl Idzik, Clint Whittington, Ryan Ray, Michael Knighten, 
Jason Knighten, and Scott Caldwell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Edward, Joey Accardo, Scott Strang, Gary 
Simmons, Kevin Welch, and Kelly Thomas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the 
Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ.

Memorials may be to the Rick Knighten Fund at Progressive Bank.
