ROY KNIGHTEN

Celebration of Life for Mr. Roy Knighten, 67, of West Monroe, will be 10:00 AM 
Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Grace Point Church in Monroe with Bishop Bennie 
Jones, Pastors John Jones and John Thompson officiating. Interment will follow 
at Mt. Olive Cemetery in West Monroe.

Mr. Knighten was born September 11, 1948, and passed from this life on October 
9, 2015, surrounded by his family. Mr. Knighten was preceded in death by his 
wife Geri Hebert Knighten; parents, Curtis and Vernell Knighten and a host of 
family members and friends.

Survivors include: children, Michael Roy Knighten and wife Monica Dyess 
Knighten, Jason Paul Knighten and wife Helen Rhodes Knighten, Monica Trahan 
Pickering, Angela Trahan Brantley and husband Scott Brantley; sisters, Patsy 
Knighten McKenzie, Linda Knighten Matthews; five grandchildren, Mark Redmond, 
Mackenzie Knighten, Macie Knighten, Shelby Knighten and Madison Knighten; as 
well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Troy Bailes, Mark Redmond, Todd Haire, Scott Brantley, 
Tommy Rhodes, Rob McKenzie, Roger McKenzie, and Curtis McKenzie. Honorary 
Pallbearers will be Harry Duprie, Ted Knighten, Donald Hebert, and Tim "Timmy" 
Matthews.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2015, at Grace 
Point Church in Monroe.
