EDWIN KNOWLES

Funeral services for Mr. Edwin Knowles will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 
4, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Interment will 
follow at Luna Assembly of God Church Cemetery. Rev. Larry Hibbard will 
officiate.

Edwin was born on May 3, 1937 in West Monroe and passed away on July 30, 2015 
in West Monroe. He served in the Louisiana National Guard and he retired from 
Graphic Packaging as an assistant superintendent after 46 years of service. 
Edwin enjoyed playing dominoes and watching sports. He is preceded in death by 
his parents, Sidney and Ollie Mae Cheeks Knowles and a sister, Hazel Hartnell.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Vera Robert Knowles; daughters, Marilou Correro 
and husband Dale and Debbie Nolan and husband Russ; son, Kirk Knowles and wife, 
Benay; grandchildren, Lindsay, Brittany, Joshua, Devin, Courtney, Jordy, and 
Carly; great-grandchildren, Reed, Mary Lou, Garrett, and Adalynn; step-
daughter, Lynn Orrell and husband Mike; step-sons, Art Gray and wife Michelle 
and Billy King and wife Kim.

Pallbearers will be Devin Knowles, Joshua Hosea, Jordy Head, Leo Balsamo, Jeff 
Ferraci, and Mike West. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Rowan and Jack Burt.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
