MRS. HAZEL ELLINGTON KNOX

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Hazel Ellington Knox, 74, of West Monroe, LA will be held 
at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Lapine Assembly of God Church, West 
Monroe, LA. Rev. Gene Cumpton and Sister Mildred Lenard will officiate. 
Interment will follow at Ansley Cemetery near Ruston, LA under the direction of 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Knox was born August 18, 1934 in Farmerville, LA and passed away March 10, 
2009 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of First Assembly of God North Hodge.

Mrs. Knox was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Knox and a brother, 
Chester Ellington and her parents, David and Ida Ellington.

Mrs. Knox is survived by 3 children; Donnie Knox and wife Kathy, Glenda Dodson, 
and Rebecca McVay and husband Freddie; 3 sisters, Avie Nell Murphy, Louise 
Bonnette, Betty Rigal and husband Jim; brother, Gene Ellington; 7 grandchildren 
and 9 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jody Sepulvado, Jeremy Cousins, Jonathan Bedgood, Randy 
Dodson, Ronnie Dodson and Brian Underwood.

Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Dodson, Christian Dodson, Kayl Underwood, 
Reed Sepulvado and Harrison Cousins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
the church.
