Military Honors will be rendered at the church. Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe. Mr. Korn was born August 15, 1938, in Harrisonburg, LA and passed from this life on June 11, 2014, surrounded by his family in West Monroe, LA. He graduated from Quitman High School, class of 1957. Mr. Korn was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Harvest Assembly of God Church. Mr. Korn retired from the State of Louisiana Office of Labor Enforcement. He enjoyed telling jokes, teasing, and in his past-time fishing and camping, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Korn never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allie Crawley Korn and Louis Korn; daughter, Terra Taylor and grandson, Dakota Taylor. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 45 years, Linda Davis Korn; children, Randall Korn and his wife Sharon, Bruce Korn, Trina Morse and her husband John, and Grady T. Korn; grandchildren, Savannah Posey, Seth Morse, Dean Korn, Brooke Land, Amber Morse, Morgan Thomas, and Sumer Taylor; great-grandson, Blaine Thomas; sisters, Texie Kennedy and her husband Joe, Nelda Holloway and her husband Luther, Faye Cost and her husband Charles, Patti Harris and her husband Lee, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care and Glenwood Regional Medical Center.
