Craig Scott officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Jerry Kostrunek, age 86, of Alexandria, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004 in Lexington House. He was an Army veteran of WWII, a native of Chicago, Ill. and a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Mr. Kostrunek was a member of the PBBA. He was written in a book called "The Neighborhood" in suburban Chicago as the "singing butcher". He had a keen sense of humor and was dearly loved by his friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Kostrunek of Alexandria; nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Deville of Pineville, William Gross of Rockford, Ill., George Rezney of Arlington Heights, Ill., Betty Halbert of Pineville, Joseph Simanek of Scottsdale, Ariz., Mary Jane Kobal of Darien, Ill., Charles Simanek of Hinesdale, Ill., Barbara Meshek of Fort Wayne , Ind., John Meshek of Berwyn, Ill. and Paul Meshek of Cali. Those preceding him in death are his parents and a sister. Friends are asked to call from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Saturday at John Kramer & Son. A Christian Wake service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charles Deville, Jr., James Deville, Bryan Deville, Richard Sanders, Stephen Todd and Thomas Halbert. William Franklin "Frank' Crawford Funeral services for William Franklin "Frank" Crawford will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2004 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville with Rev. Emitte Belgard and Wayne Crawford officiating under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Forest lawn Cemetery, Beaumont, Texas with Rev. Tony Fitzgerald officiating. Mr. Crawford, age 88, of Deville, entered eternal rest Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at his residence. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WWII. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local #479 of Beaumont, Texas for 65 years and a resident of Beaumont for 75 years. He was a long time member of Southpark Church of Christ, Beaumont, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Lois Morace Crawford of Deville; two step-daughters, Beverly Belgard of Pineville and Judy Flowers of Kountze, Texas; one step-son, Larry Crawford of Houston, Texas; six step- grandchildren, Tony Flowers of Beaumont, Texas, April Flowers of Norman, Oklahoma, Christy Flowers of Kountze, Texas, Titus Belgard of Pineville, Jonathan Belgard of Pineville and Suzzette Belgard of New Orleans; two great- grandchildren, Thomas Kingston and Dallas Dickey; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, November 5, 2004 from 10 a.m. until time of services at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
