EVELYN DORIS KERRY KRICKEL

Funeral services for Evelyn Doris Kerry Krickel of West Monroe, LA will be 
10:00am, Friday, January 6, 2017 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West 
Monroe, LA with Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn 
Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West
West Monroe. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, January 5, 2017
2017 at the funeral home.

Ms. Evelyn was born February 6, 1944 in Monroe, LA and was called to her he
heavenly home on January 2, 2017. At an early age, Evelyn taught herself to se
sew. This led to a long career as a professional seamstress. In her spare time sh
she liked to crochet, macramé, and paint. She was also an avid reader and kept no
notebooks of original poetry and songs. What Evelyn enjoyed the most however, wa
was spending time with her family. This included her children, grandchildren an
and siblings.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her father, Eazeb Kerry; mother, Bernethel Kerry 
Butler; sister, Elizabeth Kerry, and brother, Eazeb Kerry, Jr.

She is survived by her son, David Krickel and wife Rhonda, her daughter, Angela 
Moore and husband Keith, and her son, Louis Krickel, all of West Monroe, LA; 
her grandchildren, Tina Hefner, Crystal Hefner, Michael Krickel and wife 
Heather, Lacey Stevens and husband Robert, Mikayla Moore, Lane Krickel; her 
siblings, Clifford Kerry, Sr., Betty Carlisle, Linda Garner, Tisha Berry 
Clinton, Patricia Allen, Beatrice Butler, Clifford Butler, Jr., and John E. 
Kerry; also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews 
nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Scott Moore, Jackie Hollis, Kaleb Drake, Eddie Calhoun, Christ
Christopher Garner and Christopher Parker.
