GARY LADD

Gary Ladd was born on March 8, 1939 in Sterling, Colorado, and passed away 
after a long battle with cancer on July 12, 2008 in Farmerville, LA.

Gary was a 1958 High School graduate at La Porte, Colorado, in 1960 he 
graduated Colorado Jr. College at Trinidad, Colorado. He was a member of the 
American Quarter Horse Association and La. Thoroughbred Breeder Association. 
He was a horse Trainer, Ferrier, and Breeder for 40 years.

Mr. Ladd is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Daisy Ladd of Ft. 
Collins Colorado; sister Donna Ladd Siefken of Littleton, Colorado.

He is survived by his wife LaDan McGaha Ladd of Farmerville, LA; son's Verle 
Ray Ladd and wife Leslie of Lafayette, LA; Gary Allen Ladd of Lovettsville, 
Virginia; daughter Shannon Ladd of Farmerville, LA brother Jim Ladd of Ft. 
Collins, Colorado; grandchildren Robert Smith of Farmerville, LA; Forrest, 
Austin and Victoria Ladd of Lafayette, LA; Lauren Ladd of Lovettsville, 
Virginia.

Wake will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the 
family's home on 543 Denton Road in Farmerville, LA. A memorial service will 
be held in Colorado in November.
