MRS. CAROLYN SMITH LAMKIN 

Edmond’s Funeral Home Jonesboro, LA 

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Smith Lamkin, age 74, of Jonesboro, LA., 
will be at 2:00PM Tuesday, December l9, 2006 at the North Hodge Assembly of 
God Church with Rev. Gene Cumpton and Rev. Josh Merchant officiating. Burial 
will follow in the Gayla Traina Cemetery in Jonesboro, La. under the direction 
of Edmonds Funeral Home. Mrs. Lamkin died Saturday, December l6, 2006 at the 
Jackson Parish Hospital. She was a retired school teacher and was preceded in 
death by her husband, Allen P. Lamkin. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 
9:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lamkin is survived by: 2 sons, 
Reggie Lamkin and wife Joy of Minden, LA., and Mark Lamkin and wife Sheila of 
Jonesboro, LA. 3 Daughters, Shelly Dowdy and husband Dewayne of Ruston, LA, 
LeuAnne Prince and husband Robert of West Monroe, LA and Pam Nunn and husband 
Charles of Jonesboro, LA. l Sister, Dorothy Bosch and husband Leonard of 
Jonesboro, LA. 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
