Rev. Brandon Powell and Rev. Butch Lipscomb officiated. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery with Mrs. Landrum's grandsons and great grandsons serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Landrum, 88, passed away on Monday, July 3 at Beacon Hill Assisted Living in Denison. Joyce was born in Many, LA on July 17, 1928, the daughter of Roy and Cora (Skinner) Smith. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe Louisiana. She taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Landrum is survived by five daughters, Marie Lipscomb and husband Butch of Sherman, Barbara Arrant of Shreveport, Gwen Hanes of Bethany, OK; Jean Henington and husband Rob of Chillicothe, MO, and Susan Landrum of New Orleans; son, Jim Landrum of Monroe, LA; sister, Theo Peterson of DeRidder, LA; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jacob "Buster" Landrum; step-son, Wayne Landrum; brothers, Elton and Nolan Smith; and sisters, Opal Smith and Sybil Hardin.
