BILLY GLENN LANGSTON

Billy Glenn Langston, a Neville graduate and retired Navy veteran passed away 
on December 21, 2012 in Herndon,VA.

Billy was born May 1,1946 in Bastrop, LA and moved to Monroe in 1961. At 
Neville, he was a member of the Louisiana AAAA State championship football 
teams of 1962 and 1963. He was a member of the Latin Club.

Billy is survived by three sons, Colin David of Houston, TX, Neill Andrew and 
wife Erin and grandsons Oliver and Griffin of Baltimore, MD, Byron Daniel of 
Sterling, VA, and by brother and sister-in-law Harry B. and Peggy W. Langston 
of Orange, TX, and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Billy is preceeded in passing by parents, William O. and Viola B. Langston of 
Marion, and brother Charles G. Langston of Alexanderia, VA.

Billy attended Louisiana Tech before joining the U.S. Navy. In service he 
earned a BA from U. MD and an MBA from Central MI U. He retired as a Chief 
Petty Officer after more than twenty years service. He was enrolled in MENSA 
International.

A memorial service was held in Herndon, VA on December 30, 2012. Burial 
arrangements at Arlington National Cemetary are pending.

In memorium friends are asked to make a donation to the American Cancer 
Society.
