Kevin Payne, and Rev. Blue Bardaman will officiate. Mary, died peacefully in her home, December 8, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Patuxent River Maryland, June 16, 1955. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a teacher at Benjamin Russell High School and a Radiology Technologist at Russell Medical Center. Mary was a bundle of energy and who enjoyed life to the fullest. She found joy and friendship in her students and coworkers each and every day. She loved the glory of the earth's wonderous gifts of nature, and relished sharing all of their discoveries with her children, grandchildren and students. She is survived by her husband, Bill Lankford Jr., two sons, Jesse Hyde (Liz) of Birmingham and Casey Hyde ( Tara ) of Alexander City, and four grandchildren, Devin, Caiden, Divinity and Emily, Her mother, Mary Joe Guillory, one brother, Troy Guillory Jr., Monroe, La and one sister, Noel Ewing, Bangor, Maine. She was preceded in death by her father, Capt. Troy T. Guillory Sr. and her step-son, Will Lankford. Flowers will be accepted or donations to United Methodists Women's Circles or charity of donors choice. Radney Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
