LANSING A memorial service for William "Bill" Richard Lansing, Jr. will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 2:00PM at Liberty Grove Church of God, 504 Marion Sims Road, West Monroe, LA with Reverend Ray Jones officiating. William Richard Lansing Jr. was born on May 30, 1960, to William Richard Lansing Sr. and Martha Allen Pipes. He passed away on August 15, 2016, at the age of 56. Bill was a graduate of Tensas Academy and ULM where he played football. On August 25, 1995, he married the love of his life - Melanie Dosher-Lansing. They were married over 20 years. Bill worked as an endoscopy technician at St. Francis Hospital for 23 years. While there, he was very well respected and received the Saint Franciscan employee of the year honor. This allowed Bill and Melanie to travel to Italy and France. After retiring from St. Francis, he was employed at Gastroenterology Associates in Monroe. The birth of his two beloved daughters completed their family and brought Bill much love and pride. Bill will be remembered as a funny, sweet, well- respected, loved, and cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Bill was preceded in death by his father. Left to honor his memory is his wife - Melanie Dosher-Lansing; Two daughters - Camille Analise Lansing and Corinne Anastasia Lansing; Mother - Martha Allen Pipes; Two sisters - Deborah Taylor and husband John and Kerry Gregory and husband Greg; One brother - Allen Lansing and wife Lori; Step mother - Loette Lansing; A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; Two special friends - James Baker and Adam Sanderson; Co-workers at Gastroenterology Associates in Monroe.
