Danny Hawthorne and Rev. Cecil Harrington officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Latham passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at St. Joseph Nursing Home. She loved country music and being on the river with her husband, family and friends. She was in the Bowlers Veteran League and an active member of Women of the Moose. Peggy was named International co-worker of Louisiana in the 1980's and was also Captain of the River Squadron. Mrs. Latham was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Meredith; her mother, Iris Skinner; her husband, Billy Latham, Sr., and her son, Billy Latham Jr., and her sisters, Dolores Mitchell and Sidney Meredith. Survivors include daughter, Debbie Latham Ramsey of Monroe, La; one sister; four brothers; grandsons, John Scott Ramsey and Dusty Ramsey; great- granddaughter, Cheyanne; and great-grandson, Dillon Latham. Pallbearers will be Steve Brinson, Buddy Frost, David Brinson, Donald Duncan, Houston Nelson, and Dick Etheridge. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
