Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Monday. August 25, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. She was born Jan 3, 1923 to the union of Walter Franklin and Aline Reid Endom at the family home at 505 Oak Street, Monroe, Louisiana. She was the granddaughter of Robert H. Endom and Melissa Crownrich Endom and John Sumrall Reid and Virginia McRee Reid. She was proud of the fact that her family had been in Ouachita Parish for nine generations and 200 years and the Endom Bridge was named after her grandfather Endom and his brother Fred L. Endom. She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Donna Lee Clark. Donna's children are Lori Lyle Pomier and her husband, Steve and Richard Lyle and his fiancé, Anna Lewis, Jason Lyle and his wife Laney, and Kayla Arlease Lyle. Other survivors include sons Gary Lee and wife Charlotte, Terry Lee and wife Debbie, and sons, Daniel and Joey, Randy Lee and fiancé Vicky and his daughter, Kristy and fiancé, Chris Brown, along with a host of great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and niece, Beverly Downing Bowling. She is survived by her only sister and best friend, Jean Endom Downing, and nephew, "second son", and caregiver Ron Downing and his wife, Jan; their children Clinton Downing and Sarah Downing Watley and husband Ricky, and her children Paul Downing and Garrett Watley. She was a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School in 1940, graduated from Northeast Junior College majoring in Art and Dress Design and she married her husband, Raymond L. "Jack" Lee in 1940. At that time, she was living in California and working in an aircraft factory during WWII. She was a 60 year member of College Place Baptist Church, an accomplished artist and a wonderful seamstress.
