LEMLEY Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Mr. Jack S. Lemley, 75, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Liberty Baptist Church in Calhoun with Rev. Tony Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mr. Lemley was born in Rosebud, TX, on March 17, 1934 and passed away on December 30, 2009 at his home. In 1951, Jack graduated from Rosebud High School, after which he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving in Korea. Jack was former owner of the Chrysler dealership in Lake Charles, LA, and was affiliated with numerous dealerships in Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Mississippi. He was also a consultant for General Motors. Since 1993, Jack had been a consultant for Capital Buick, GMC in Baton Rouge, LA. He was an avid golfer and had been a member of Pine Hills Country Club since 1986. Mr. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Augusta Sparks Lemley, and by numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Edie Lemley; daughter, Amanda Lemley; stepsons, Keith Tilley and Eddie Peruso; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Boyd, Ladd Springs, Joe Kvaternick, Dan O'Neal, Charles Bozeman, and Ron Davies. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Pine Hills MGA. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, January 1, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. The Family would like to give a special thanks to the Staff of Southern Care Hospice, Dr. Matt George, Marilyn, Tosha, Elly; Dr. Floyd Jones and staff; Medi-Star Home Health Therapy, David Johnson and Therapist. Also to Charles Bozeman, who was a beloved caregiver and friend, and to Dorothy Carter for her love and devotion through the years.
