LIONEL ROGER LEON 

Funeral services for Mr. Lionel Roger Leon, 85, of Monroe, LA will be held at 
2:00 PM Monday, February 24, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road in Monroe with Rev. James Dominic Thekkemury officiating. 
Interment will follow at Kilpatricks Serenity Gardens Cemetery, West Monroe, 
LA. 

Mr. Leon passed away on February 20, 2014, in Monroe, LA. He was an Air Force 
Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Leon was a member of St. Matthew Catholic 
Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Jean Leon and 
Evangeline Pecot Zito; and a grandson, Robert Leon, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Achsah Tidwell Leon; children, Kathryn 
Leon Phillips and husband Curtis of Bossier City, LA, Steven Roger Leon and 
wife Ruthie of Memphis, TN, David Glenn Leon of Downsville, LA, Robert John 
Leon and wife Judy of Frederick, MD, Linda Leon Littleton and husband Bobby of 
Downsville, LA and Betty Leon Robinson and husband Bob of Oxford, MS; 
grandchildren, Elizabeth Phillips, Mary Phillips Dinkins and husband Shane, 
Karen Phillips Smith and husband Jason, Brian Anthony Leon, Aimee Littleton 
Allen and husband Joey, Emily Leon, Mackenzie Robinson; and great 
grandchildren, Hailey Dinkins, Khloe Dinkins, Aiden Smith, Gage Smith and Tate 
Allen; and brother, Richard Zito and wife Rainell of Chalmette, LA. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday.
