Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home

Tallulah, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Tommy E. Leoty, Sr., age 85, of Tallulah will be held 
at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 3, 2009 in the First United Methodist Church 
in Tallulah, with Rev. John Kavanaugh and Fred Fulton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the 
direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Visitation will be 
from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the funeral home 
chapel.

Mr. Leoty died early Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Olive Branch Senior 
Care Center in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. He was born in Oneida, 
Tennessee and had lived in Tallulah for 75 years. Mr. Leoty was the owner of 
Tommy Leoty's State Farm Insurance Agency in Tallulah. He was a member of the 
First Untied Methodist Church and was a U. S. Navy World War II veteran, and 
an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Marie Leoty of Tallulah, LA; a son Tommy E. 
Leoty, Jr. and wife Margaret of Tallulah, LA; one sister Sue Post of Tallulah 
and 4 grand children and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Leoty Lebowitz and a sister 
Helen Leoty Sevier.

Pallbearers will be David Cagnolatti, Mac Cagnolatti, Kirk Morley, Buddy 
Caldwell, Tommy Wixson and Ron Hilderbrand
