IRENE ROBINSON WINGATE LEWIS

Irene Robinson Wingate Lewis, age 93, went to be with the Lord on Monday, 
January 28, 2013. Mrs. Lewis was a native of Newellton, LA and was a resident 
of Kenner, LA for 40 years. 

Beloved wife of the late Robert Lee Wingate by first marriage and the late 
Reeve Lewis, Sr. by second marriage. Mother of the late Harvey Robert "Bob" 
Wingate. Mother-in-law of Kay Methe Wingate. Grandmother of Mark Wingate 
(wife, Lori) and Kelley Wingate Levy (husband, Aaron). Great grandmother of 
Kyle Roubal, Lindsey Wingate and Meyer Levy. Daughter of the late Harvey and 
Neva Huffman Robinson. Sister of the late Frank Robinson, Betty Lou Doyle and 
Carolyn DeVincent. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Mrs. Lewis was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of St. 
Augustine's Episcopal Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited 
to attend the visitation at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, 3412 Haring 
Road, Metairie, LA 70006 on Wednesday morning, January 30, 2013 beginning at 
9:00 AM with a Requiem Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. 

Graveside services and interment will be on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 
12:30 PM at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, LA. In lieu of flowers or 
plants, memorial contributions to St. Augustine's Episcopal Church preferred.
