W. PAUL LEWIS

Funeral services for W. Paul Lewis, 87, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00 
PM, Sunday, May 18, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. 
Rev. Woods Watson will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under 
the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Lewis was born September 17, 1926 in Covington County, Mississippi and 
passed away peacefully at home May 15, 2014 in West Monroe. He was preceded in 
death by his wife Bea Lewis, Betty Lewis, mother of his children, and parents 
Essie and Euil Lewis.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his daughter, Brenda Lewis Poynter Rinehart and husband 
Paul, Paula Lewis Cobb and husband Emmett; grandchildren, Todd Poynter and wife 
Pam, Jennfier Poynter Cockrell and husband Brian, Scott Cobb and wife Jennifer, 
Reagan Cobb and wife Ginnie and Chris Rinehart and wife Heather; great-
grandchildren Hannah, Natalie, and Andrew Cockrell, Sydney, Ashley and Annabelle 
Cobb, Kylie, Grant, Gracie, Bryce and Brylee Cobb, Shelby, Gillian, Nick, and 
Amanda Rinehart; brother, Sheldon Lewis and wife Ellen; and special caregiver, 
Jennifer McWilliams. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were 
the love of his life.

He had a passion for gardening and his "place" which he built himself. He also 
loved to fish and ride his motorcycle, having bought his first bike at 70. He 
rebuilt an airplane in his backyard and enjoyed flying it.
