E. DEVONNE LEWIS

Funeral services for E. Devonne Lewis, 69, of Monroe, formerly of Winnsboro, 
will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 23, 2015, at Lea Joyner Memorial United 
Methodist Church in Monroe, with Rev. Larry O'Dell, Rev. Kelly Clark, and Rev. 
Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery in 
Crowville, Louisiana, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe.

Devonne was born March 2, 1945, to the union of E. Q. and Tennie Clark Lewis 
and passed from this life after a short battle with cancer on Friday, March 20, 
2015, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center.

Devonne was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church and was 
retired from the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, where he served as Director 
of Buildings, Grounds, and Transportation.

Devonne was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Quentin Lewis, and Tennie 
Bell Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Davis Lewis; daughter, Misty 
Wiggins and husband Billy Bob Wiggins; son, Bradley Lewis and wife Bonnie; four 
grandchildren, Elli Grace Houser, Carson Lewis, Isabella Lewis, and Abigail 
Lewis; three brothers, Sam, Ken, and Sherman Lewis; one sister, Bennie 
Middleton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be John Parrott, Steve Tolson, Toby Trichel, Jimmy Waller, 
Mark Ingram, and Tommy Fuller.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until time of service at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to benefit a group that was near and dear to his 
heart, the Darbonne Range Riders Ag Kids. Their mailing address is 110 Hickory 
Hill Drive, Monroe, LA 71203.
