BESSIE LEWIS

Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Lewis, age 80 of West Monroe, will be held 
at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Christian Life Church. 
Officiating will be Rev. Danny Chance. Interment will be in Kilpatrick's 
Serenity Gardens cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of 
West Monroe.

Mrs. Lewis was a retired licensed practical nurse and a 58 year member of 
Christian Life Church.

Bessie is survived by her daughter, Rene Masters and her husband, Jesse; and 
her son, Rev. Zale Lewis and his wife, Gaye; grandchildren, Summer Powell 
and her husband, Jason, Burl Masters and his wife, Jamie, Holly Bryan and 
her husband, Sean and Chance Lewis and his wife, Sarah; great grandchildren, 
Emilee Kate Powell, Jacey Powell, Carly Masters, Natalie Masters, Garrett 
Masters, Eden Bryan, Noah Bryan, Zane Lewis, Zale Lewis and Zebb Lewis; and 
her sister, Lois Redd.

Bessie was employed by St. Francis Medical Center for 35 and a half years. 
She loved to laugh and enjoyed her family and friends. The family would like 
to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. H. Hinkle and 
Leneigh of the Gastroenterology Clinic, Louisiana Hospice and Palliative 
Care and Janice Segars for their special and loving care of our Nana.

Visitation will held from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Friday, February 10, 
2017 at Christian Life Church.
