THELBERT L. LEWIS, SR.
Clark-Griffin Funeral Company West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Thelbert L. Lewis, Sr., 67, of Monroe will be at 10:00 AM 
Thursday at the Bethel Assembly of God in Monroe under the direction of Clark-
Griffin Funeral Company. Reverand B.F. Sellers will be officiating. Burial 
will follow at Memorial Park Cemetary in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held 
Wednesday 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday at 8:00 AM until time of service 
at Bethel Assembly of God.

Mr. Lewis was born January 25, 1942, and passed away Monday, October 12, 2009 
at St. Francis Specialty Hospital.

Thelbert enjoyed gardening, he was a great baseball player, loved college 
football, was a member of Bethel Assembly of God and a family man that loved 
God and his church.

He was survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Jo Lewis of Monroe; one 
son, Thelbert (Bubba) Lewis, Jr. of Minden; two daughters Tracy Brown and 
husband Donnie of Columbia, MO and Lisa Redding of West Monroe; grandchildren 
include Lance Brown, Emily Brown, Nathan and Misty Redding, Julie Redding, 
Megan Redding, Chase Redding, Grecia Lewis and London Lewis; great 
grandchildren include Rylan Redding, Parker Redding and Layken Redding; he is 
also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Lance Brown, Nathan Redding, Chase Redding, Donnie Brown, 
Scott Redding and Darren LaBorde.

Honorary pallbearer will be London Lewis.
