Eddie Riley officiating. Interment will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery with services under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Myrtle Ada Lindsey was born on August 23, 1939 at Columbia to the union of her parents Overton Perot and Myrtle Holmes Perot. She passed from this life on Saturday May 9, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her son: Andrew Kirk Lindsey; and also by her brothers: Clayton Lynn Perot, John Vernon Perot, and Neil Louis Perot. Mrs. Ada was a very loving mother and grandmother, and dedicated her entire life to taking care of and loving her husband, her children, and all of her family members. She also dedicated her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was an active member at Banks Springs Baptist Church until her illness became an obstacle for her. She however never quit trusting her Lord for the needs of her life. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memory: her husband: Edward Lee Lindsey of Clarks; her son: Edward Nicholas "Nick" Lindsey and wife Michelle of Clarks; her daughters: Korey Aline Hooter and husband Brandon of Monroe, Marla Dalena Lindsey and her fiancee' Elton Herrington of Clarks; and Leanne "Sissy" Blackmore and husband Ken of Waskom, Texas; her brothers: Curtis Perot of Clarks, Richard Perot of Minden, and William "Billy" Perot of New York; her sisters: Irma Cox of Marion and Audie Fatheree of Columbia; her beloved grandchildren: Taylor Hooter, Andie Lindsey, Alana Blackmore, Logan Blackmore, and Bradon Hooter. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Bennett, Steven Hatten, Waylon Hendrix, Jason Cummings, Russell Dean Fatheree, and Brian Fatheree. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Banks Springs Baptist Church.
