Reverends Jimbo Herring and Kenny Herring will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dermott Cemetery in Dermott, Arkansas. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Mr. Lingo passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Fred was a lifelong resident of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Lake Village, Arkansas. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Oak Grove, Louisiana. He was a lifelong farmer operating Fred Lingo Farms in Lake Village, Arkansas. He loved hunting, flying and antique cars. His main love was his family. He is preceded in death by his father, James Boone Lingo. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Shannon Greene Lingo of Lake Village, Arkansas; his son, Joshua Boone Lingo of Lake Village; daughter and son-in-law, Abby and Cole Russell of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Leah Lingo of Oak Grove; granddaughter, Keller Russell of Oak Grove; his mother, Martha Ann Lingo of Oak Grove; brother and sister-in-law, Lindy and Judy Lingo of Oak Grove; sister, Karen Lingo of Oak Grove; and brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Sherry Lingo of Oak Grove. Pallbearers are: Josh Lingo, Cole Russell, Lindy Lingo, Mike Lingo, Lindy Carl Lingo and Jim Lingo. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2014 between the hours of 3 to 9 PM at First United Methodist Church in Oak Grove.
